The Kowana Valley Cabin sits on a former Gold Rush homestead in the middle of the Stanislaus National Forest. The 300-acre property includes an ENTIRE meadow valley shared only with the Kowana Valley Lodge on the other side of the creek. This is a unique opportunity to completely detach from the modern world and unwind in true Sierra wilderness.
Favorite activities include immersing in nature for a creek walk, a refreshing dip into the swimming hole, and hike to the Southern Sierra Miwok and then the early settlers during the California Gold Rush. Kowana Valley has also been used as base camp for visitors to Yosemite National Park, from as far back as the 1850s!
